Please keep in mind that this e-mail service does not constitute or establish a physician-patient relationship, although some limited specific advice-giving could be done for traveler-patient-clients whom we have seen and for whom we have up-to-date records.
We will attempt to answer your question in the shortest time frame possible. If there seems to be an unusual delay, we may have been bombarded with questions or may be on a badly-needed vacation.
If you are traveling and are ill, we may not be able to do much besides suggest that you seek medical attention. Please ask your fellow North American residents of the country you are visiting, or try one of the physicians on the list published by IAMAT, who are in many of the world's major
cities. All listed physicians should speak English and should have agreed to a certain price structure for members of IAMAT. All travelers who are seen in this office are given a chance to join this valuable, non-profit organization.
